  • OVERVIEW

Our Distance Learning programs for Infrared Thermography Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certifications offer a flexible, self-paced approach to learning, allowing you to gain the same high-quality education as in-person courses from the comfort of your home or office. These online programs are perfect for busy professionals who want to enhance their skills without the need for travel.

In this comprehensive program, you will start with the fundamentals of infrared thermography in Level 1, including infrared theory, equipment operation, image analysis, and report generation. You will learn how to use infrared cameras to identify and troubleshoot issues in electrical, mechanical, and building systems. As you progress to Level 2, you'll dive into advanced techniques such as precise temperature measurement, equipment calibration, error handling, and creating detailed reports with temperature limits and repair priorities.

Level 3 focuses on best practices, program development, and long-term sustainability. You will learn to manage and oversee infrared inspection programs, implement standards-compliant procedures, optimize workflows, ensure data integrity, and lead inspection teams effectively, preparing you to integrate thermography into maintenance, reliability, and asset management strategies.

  • WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

    • Basic infrared thermography concepts and heat transfer principles
    • Operating and selecting infrared imaging equipment
    • Analyzing thermal images and creating effective reports
    • Identifying thermal patterns in electrical, mechanical, and building systems
    • Advanced techniques for precise temperature measurement and equipment calibration
    • Error sources and best practices for accurate readings
    • Developing detailed quantitative reports and assigning repair priorities
  • WHO SHOULD ATTEND

    This program is ideal for:

    Professionals in maintenance

    Engineering

    Construction and

    Building inspections

Level 1 is open to those with no prior thermography experience.

Level 2 is designed for individuals who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent experience and wish to specialize in thermography for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.

Level 3 is intended for senior thermographers, engineers, maintenance managers, reliability professionals, and technical staff who are responsible for managing, supervising, or developing infrared thermography programs. It is ideal for those who want to lead inspection teams, implement best practices, ensure compliance with industry standards, and integrate thermography into long-term maintenance, reliability, and asset management strategies.

  • RESOURCE PERSON

    Mr. Vincent Jason Peñalosa

    Certified Level 3 Thermographer

Mr. Jek Peñalosa graduated BS Commerce from the University of Sto Tomas and later took a special course in audio technology from Digidesign Pro Tools Certification Program in California, USA. He is a certified Pro Tools Music and Production Operator (First in the Philippines, First in Asia).

As an audio engineer himself, he was recognized by one of the two Asian technical persons in digital audio. He also conducts lectures to broadcast stations, primarily in ABS – CBN and other broadcast stations on audio systems.

He received his Level 3 Certification in Thermography through the Infrared Training Center of Sweden, Stockholm. Mr. Jek attended power system training and seminars from Bender systems in Germany, Doble Engineering conferences for many years, and attended various training in the power system in Asia, US, and Europe. He now works full-time as VP for Sales and Marketing of Westco Electrical & Equipment Corp.

He is also PamavTech’s Resource speaker for Infrared Thermography and Power Quality and Harmonics.
